Profitec Pro 500: Heating Element ReplacementUpdated 5 months ago
Before doing this we recommend draining the machine, unplugging it and allowing it to fully cool off.
Tools Needed:
- 2.5mm Allen Wrench
- 3mm Allen Wrench
- 13mm Wrench or 13mm Deep Socket and Ratcheting Wrench
- 17mm Wrench
- 1400W Element (if replacing)
- Replacement Heating Element Gasket
1. Remove the panels from the machine, step by step instructions can be found here: Pro 500 Panel Removal
2. Remove the top nut from the copper pipe that is blocking the element with a 17mm crescent wrench. Carefully move it out of the way so you can access the element.

3. Remove the 2 wires from the element, then use the 13mm wrench to remove the 3 nuts holding the element in place. From here you can swap the element and (if needed) the gasket between the element and the boiler.
