Once the two screws are removed, apply pressure to the top of the back panel to release the pop screws:<img alt="back panel green" class="hs-image-align-none fr-fic fr-dii" height="917" src="https://4309359.fs1.hubspotusercontent-na1.net/hubfs/4309359/back%20panel%20green.png" style="height: auto; width: 688px;" width="688">&#xA0;4. Using a towel to support the group head, carefully tilt the machine on its front to access the screws on the bottom of the machine:<img alt="face down " class="hs-image-align-none fr-fic fr-dii" height="917" src="https://4309359.fs1.hubspotusercontent-na1.net/hubfs/4309359/face%20down%20.png" style="height: auto; width: 688px;" width="688"><img alt="bottom screws " class="hs-image-align-none fr-fic fr-dii" height="917" src="https://4309359.fs1.hubspotusercontent-na1.net/hubfs/4309359/bottom%20screws%20.png" style="height: auto; width: 688px;" width="688">&#xA0;5. If you need to access the boiler or any internal components, you&apos;ll need to remove the reservoir panel. First, remove the nut attached to the expansion valve:<img alt="expansion valve nut " class="hs-image-align-none fr-fic fr-dii" height="917" src="https://4309359.fs1.hubspotusercontent-na1.net/hubfs/4309359/expansion%20valve%20nut%20.png" style="height: auto; width: 688px;" width="688">&#xA0;9. Then remove the tubing from the inlet and lift the reservoir panel up and off to the side (you shouldn&apos;t need to disconnect the wires unless otherwise instructed by a technician.)&#xA0;<img alt="pump tubing from inlet " class="hs-image-align-none fr-fic fr-dii" height="917" src="https://4309359.fs1.hubspotusercontent-na1.net/hubfs/4309359/pump%20tubing%20from%20inlet%20.png" style="height: auto; width: 688px;" width="688"><img alt="reservoir panel removed " class="hs-image-align-none fr-fic fr-dii" height="917" src="https://4309359.fs1.hubspotusercontent-na1.net/hubfs/4309359/reservoir%20panel%20removed%20.png" style="height: auto; width: 688px;" width="688">Now you have access to the inside of your LUCCA X58!** If you need to test your machine with the panels off to check for a leak or an electrical issue you can set up the water tank like so (just make sure to reattach the tubing to the reservoir inlet:)<img alt="IMG_7907" class="hs-image-align-none fr-fic fr-dii" height="917" src="https://4309359.fs1.hubspotusercontent-na1.net/hubfs/4309359/IMG_7907.jpg" style="height: auto; width: 688px;" width="688">&#xA0;

Tools Needed: -Philips head screw driver (Panel Removal) -17mm crescent wrench x2 - 5 gallon bucket or large bowl - Towel(s) <a href="https://clivecoffee.com/pages/help-center?hcUrl=%2Fen-US%2Flucca-x58-panel-removal-884169">Remove the panels from the machine</a>. 1. Identify the copper tube connecting the boiler to the steam wand. You will need to use two 17mm crescent wrenches, one to hold the steam assembly in place, and the other to unscrew the brass fitting on the copper tube.<img alt="X58 loosen brass fitting 2" class="hs-image-align-none fr-fic fr-dii" height="917" src="https://4309359.fs1.hubspotusercontent-na1.net/hubfs/4309359/X58%20loosen%20brass%20fitting%202.jpg" style="height: auto; width: 688px;" width="688">2. Next, you will need to loosen the lower brass nut, and turn the now loose pipe facing up and out of the machine.<img alt="X58 Loosen brass fitting" class="hs-image-align-none fr-fic fr-dii" height="917" src="https://4309359.fs1.hubspotusercontent-na1.net/hubfs/4309359/X58%20Loosen%20brass%20fitting.jpg" style="height: auto; width: 688px;" width="688">3. You will need to retighten this fitting now that it is facing upward. This will be used as a makeshift drain port for your boiler.<img alt="X58 tighten the brass fitting up" class="hs-image-align-none fr-fic fr-dii" height="917" src="https://4309359.fs1.hubspotusercontent-na1.net/hubfs/4309359/X58%20tighten%20the%20brass%20fitting%20up.jpg" style="height: auto; width: 688px;" width="688">4. Please use caution for this next step! Pull your machine forward to the end of the bench or counter and turn it over on its right side over a bucket. You will need to hold onto the top panel while you flip the machine to finish draining.
