Profitec Pro 700: Adjusting Brew PressureUpdated 6 months ago
Tools Needed:
- Flathead Screwdriver
- Backflush Disc
1. Ensure that your water reservoir is empty as you will be tipping the machine to the side to access the pump adjustment screw. This may require removing the water reservoir entirely.
2. From the front of the machine, tip it to the right side and take a look at the bottom. You will see a hole near the back left leg of the machine, this gives you access to the pump adjustment screw. Use your flathead screwdriver to increase (clockwise) or decrease (counterclockwise) pump pressure.
*Important: Make small adjustments, no more than a half turn at a time as rotary pumps are sensitive to adjustment and large adjustments at once will often times make too much of a jump in pressure when you may only need a small adjustment.

3. After each adjustment, test the machine's pressure with a backflush disk in the grouphead. You should have 9-9.5 bar pressure on your brew gauge with a backflush disc in place. Adjust pressure up and down as necessary.
