This is useful if your machines brew boiler is draining back into the water tank. You can tell if this is happening if after the machine has been on for a couple of hours without use it takes a few seconds to get any regular flow out of the group head instead of an instant response.

Before doing this we recommend unplugging your machine and allowing it to fully cool off. Tools required:
